Hello and welcome to Children of Bahamut!

This OOC post will be for all your introductory and/or plotting needs! For newcomers, we want to give a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong. For established players, feel free to make your event and other plans for the future here!

You can use the form below! If you play more than one character, you're free to make a top-level for just your relevant player information and comment beneath with each respective character.

This is basically a summary of what your hopes for your time in the game are and/or specifically for the most recent event! <b>Interested In</b>: Similarly, what specific types of CR are you looking for? What tropes are your favorite to explore? Any quests in particular that catch your eye you'd like to see about getting people to do? <b>Anything else?</b> This is for anything especially important to note about your character, but also often the designated meme section.

As a few quick notes:

⁂ The Brain Boggling event log is up in its entirety! Use this post to plot for it, but feel free to top-level or tag into the actual event at your leisure.
⁂ We want to encourage people to continue to use the quest board to get themselves established in the community and building reputation if they want something to do!
⁂ Character claims are always open until we hit the player cap! So, please keep checking back on this post for new players or characters that might be added to ensure everyone receives a warm welcome!

Most of all, we want people to have fun and let us know if your character gets up to anything good, bad, or whatever! All of it will influence the world around them and potentially have benefits or consequences.

I am also interested in seeing some fucked up mad science because playing with human lives like that is the exact kind of thing that actively pisses Avan off. The unfortunate wrinkle here is that Avan is very decidedly not the type of guy who is going to start a conversation with "I saw your traumatic backstory and it made me angry," or bring it up at all, if he can help it. Can we utilize Angeal's meddler nature to get around this or maybe finagle a situation where Angeal's present for the memory pop and Avan's immediate reaction?

fortunately due to those messed up human experiments, Angeal can bounce back pretty quickly from otherwise messed up situations (see: able to get up in a minute from a giant fireball straight to the face), so he could probably definitely be chasing the ID in question and find it just a second too late to pass around his memories

Avan's been good and staying home during the daytime, so Angeal can chase it there and Avan can poke his head out a window to check out the noise?

with that said, are there any particular kind of terrible science memories you'd want Avan to see? I listed a couple here for Popp, but I could come up with a few more if nothing caught your attention.

Rapid deterioration would do, unless you have something even more directly focused on "lives treated as disposable in the name of science"
