OOC INTRO & PLOTTING
Hello and welcome to Children of Bahamut!
This OOC post will be for all your introductory plotting needs! While there will be plotting posts for events once they officially start in November and on, we wanted to give everyone a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong.
You can use the form below! If you play more than one character, you're free to make a top-level for just your relevant player information and comment beneath with each respective character.

Most of all, we want people to have fun and let us know if your character gets up to anything good, bad, or whatever! All of it will influence the world around them and potentially have benefits or consequences.

About: Who are any of us, really?
Just kidding~ Hello, I'm Arna! I'm a housewife and aspiring author living in the NC area with my nerdy psychologist husband and our two fluffy cats, Luna and Sol! I've been in DWRP in some capacity for...yeesh, 13+ years? Been writing most of my life, though; I love it and feel off if I don't do some pretty often!
Right now, I'm just working on stuff around the house and working to get healthier, as I have fibromyalgia and ADHD, the combo of which sometimes makes my tagging erratic. I do my best, though! I tend to tag more in the afternoon/evenings, but if you need me to get on something, please poke me on Plurk or this journal, or on Discord (let me know who you are in a DM first so I can friend you!)! Though fair warning, this month is chock full of High Holy Days so I get to dance around those, too. Also, sometimes my brain mixes up the order of sentences/words so please don't mind my needing to edit things sometimes.
Oh, right, since I'm in NC, I'm Eastern time zone.
Hobbies include (but are not limited to): Writing, reading (Anything by Jim Butcher and Larry Coreia is an automatic win for me; currently reading Ascendance of a Bookworm), D&D/TTRPGs, board games, vidya games (RPGs, strategy, puzzle, rhythm, old point-and-click...my tastes are varied and many. Currently bouncing between V Rising and FFXIV), reading/listening to textual critiques of translations of ancient writings, occasionally doing some crafty stuff, annnd also holding my husband back when he's in "LET'S GOO" mode. OH and researching for writing. Please do not be alarmed if there is random medieval or whatever stuff in the tags, or me tending to spell in UK English; it's a thing with this muse.
Also, I plurk a lot about RP, FFXIV, and my husband and cats. We are a special bunch that can sometimes be a bit extra.

⁂ PLOT WITH ME
Character: Nephenee
Canon: The Fire Emblems with Ike in them :u (Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn, aka the Tellius Duology)
Canon Point: Post-Radiant Dawn, about a year after
Age: 21-ish
Dragon Bond: A Silver dragon named Persvek Janklee (who might get nicknamed Percy/Persy by Nephie; that name's hard for a country girl to say!).
Info: "Persvek found herself flitting from interest to interest in her life. She rarely stayed in one place or job for too long. She found herself eager to meet new people and have new experiences constantly. While some expressed frustration at her apparent fickleness, they would attest she was never cruel... just inattentive. She gleaned her most joy when immersing herself in learning about novel people and cultures."
Sooo basically, a normally very even-keeled (if constantly moving about and keeping busy), shy character who sticks to things easily and isn't great socially got an extroverted ADHD dragon. But at least they're both pretty LG?
About Your Blorbo:
OKAY SO. Take a lovely farm girl with great legs and an Amazonian figure and a cute warm country accent, then make her a legendary lancer that's strong enough (and ignores physics enough) to use a lance/halberd in one hand and a tower shield in the other, who's fought in two wars and helped take down a goddess.
Now add in shyness, self-esteem issues, hypocrisy in regards to telling others to take care of themselves (but not doing so herself sometimes), & a massive lack of self-awareness, crap in her past she needs to deal with, and some naivete, but also a kind and generous spirit that genuinely cares for others even if they might not be allies, massive BIG SISTER energy, and a very strong will.
Congrats, you now have a basic idea of Nephenee.
She's better than she used to be, but she's still fairly shy sometimes, and as she's been pulled from her family (mom and siblings), the lancers she was teaching, and her pretty settled life and schedule...she might try to turtle a little. Ok, she will absolutely try to turtle. While she's genuinely warm and kind to people, she has trouble letting others in past a certain point...that doesn't keep her from adopting people, though :v Seriously, I have played different versions of this muse for YEARS and every game she's in she adopts people as found family.
Anyway, that's a basic gist of the character. I could go on MUCH longer but it says "brief", and I've gone past that already! Please bother her!
Game Plan(s):
See above about wanting to turtle at first. She will explore, though, and try to make friends. I'd like her to learn to move past some stuff in her past that holds her back, and let others in. Despite her shyness and not wanting to be super vulnerable, she is quite easy to get along with, and generally will try to make peace with others and extends olive branches often.
There's a whole list of hopes/dreams that I could put down, but I'm not quite sure how to express them currently. Honestly, I'm interested in how she grows and what she does in general.
OH and that whole "having a dragon companion" and "turning into a dragon" is absolutely RIPE for fun times. She gets startled easily sometimes and also having to fight the flighty dragon in her head on stuff is going to be wonderful and hilarious.
Also, there's going to be a farm if there wasn't already. She WILL farm, dang it!

Nephenee needs to make friends. Nephenee needs to learn how to make them easier and that she's worth them.
VERY interested in Found Family. She will adopt people! You have no chance to decide, make your time.
Also VERY interested in her finding a nice boy to bring home to Ma.
On the flip side, she'd rather NOT make enemies, because she tends to have to beat them up...but ya know, she might have to beat up someone she likes, too. So hey, negative CR can be a thing regardless.
ATM, most of the quests sound cool, since they get into her country girl nature. Though uh, maybe not the poopy one >.>

Nephenee's freaking adorable, especially when she gets flustered, which can be quite often! I'm unfamiliar with Ko, but being a Fire Emblem character, which runs on "make your enemies your friends" as a mechanic, she can get along with most people. Or she tries to, at least. Tell me more of the Ko!

but there's a lot going on w ko uhh. the tl;dr: he's half-undead (handead) and can convert others with his singing and his bite. crazy charisma most of the time. he's revered as a god but is just Some Guy with a big secret and big trauma. martyr kinda dude. plus he's tone deaf and a singer n there's a lot of contradictions here bhdskds he's generally mild mannered but can get intense.

Gaia's the sort to pitch in and help even if she can be prickly on the outside, especially at first. Kind of an acquired taste? XD But that mild tsundere core, you know how it be. I'm sure she might be willing to come by and help with a farm or at least learn helping on a farm.

I'm actually in the 98 MSQ area for DT, so I'm pretty familiar with that raid series! Gaia's a good bean and she'll probably get adopted as a lil sister. Oops? Nephenee can handle tsundere, and she'd love to have help when she starts farming, and will teach anyone who wants to learn.
...Also, because Gaia is Miss Fashionista over here, I can't help but think of Neph's friend Calill who canonically tries to dress her up because she's "gorgeous!". This dress isn't necessarily canon, but I chose to believe it is and is from after Radiant Dawn ends. She and her mom made that!

Frak, if I didn't know you were talking about Bucky, I'd wonder if you meant another Nephenee ;)
But seriously, she'd be all for that. She's friends with or served alongside some assassins in canon, she knows that sometimes you gotta do stuff like that, so that won't bother her much. He'll probably trigger some "this guy needs help" vibes for her, and she has no problem being a support to someone who needs it.
(Now watch out for her being a hypocrite and not applying anything she's telling Bucky to her similar issues...he's free to call her out on it, too).
Also, she is adorable, especially if you get her flustered...which is easy to do tbh. But she'll fight for her friends no matter what! She's stupid loyal like that, and it sounds like he is too.

His dragon's a brass dragon and former air force: kind, protective, chatty, and a bit of a smart-ass. If you've seen the MCU movies/shows, he's basically Sam Wilson/Falcon.
Also oh, wow, were you in StE back in the day? Saw it listed on your journal. I was the Lyall there, if you remember him.

I haven't seen MCU movies in awhile, but I remember liking Falcon...that personality type is one of my favorites.
If it's on there it was one I was at, though I don't recall much of the game. I DO remember a Lyall, though, or at least some icons of him. It's nice to see you again! How long has it been since that game was a thing...
