Hello and welcome to Children of Bahamut!

This OOC post will be for all your introductory plotting needs! While there will be plotting posts for events once they officially start in November and on, we wanted to give everyone a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong.

You can use the form below! If you play more than one character, you're free to make a top-level for just your relevant player information and comment beneath with each respective character.

As a few quick notes:

⁂ The Town Town Hall Meeting is up and serves as a game opening mingle! Our first real, proper event will be November 1st.
⁂ While a month might seem like a long time, we want to encourage people to use the the quest board to get themselves established in the community and building reputation if they want something to do!
⁂ Character claims are always open until we hit the player cap! So, please keep checking back on this post for new players or characters that might be added to ensure everyone receives a warm welcome!

Most of all, we want people to have fun and let us know if your character gets up to anything good, bad, or whatever! All of it will influence the world around them and potentially have benefits or consequences.

Canon Point: just post Fall having received the first Royal Arm
Age: 20
Dragon Bond: Nocto got a badass white dragon, very protective leader of his small mining community. Luthor is judging this boy so much already.

About Your Blorbo: Just let him sleep. Noctis seems like a lazy spoiled brat at first glance, especially because of how much he whines about doing a lot of things. Some of it is certainly spoiling, he is a prince. He's used to a certain level of accomodation. He's also recently suffered a rude awakening on that front. The other part is that he has depression and chronic fatigue from a childhood injury. His kingdom is at war, his dad is dying, everything is awful and he can't do a damn thing about it! Fishing and video games are his favorite activities and his entire world came crashing down around him uuuuh yesterday! Sorry he's a sullen, catty, brat right now. Give him some time and he'll be back to just being sassy and subdued.

Game Plan(s): Holy shit? Processing grief and not just burying it and keeping on keeping on like your dad didn't just die, your home destroyed, and a violent occupation has taken over your country??? Sounds fake.
Interested In: Fwiends? People to actually get to know him for him and not squealing because ouji-sama talked to them? Differing perspectives from other worlds to give him the ability to actually recognize how utterly fucked his home world is?

I know we're still working through the first thread on the TDM, but goodness, Noct is such a good little bean. Regis may be reluctant to tell Noctis everything that happened during the treaty talks. He does not want to overwhelm his son with all of the horrific details.

That would be extremely cruel.

Sorry, Noct, but your father will not cause you any more distress. Regis being alive and well after the fall of Insomnia is enough. He does not want to burden Noctis any further.

Instead, they should go fishing together. Regis will do anything to keep Noctis from his crippling depression.

I read the Ravus thread and it's wonderfully heartbreaking.

I'm about to read the Ardyn one before I tag ours. Noctis needsdeserves an explanation for all this tragedy, and Regis will give him one. I can imagine this may end in tears, but at least it will be something.

Lucius, are you a male version of her? That game Plan sounds like Nephenee a bit. Dad's dead, wars happened, still going on and burying grief ten years later md not properly dealing with jt? Well, not 10 years in his case.

Clearly they'll be the best of friends! :D
