Hello and welcome to Children of Bahamut!

This OOC post will be for all your introductory plotting needs! While there will be plotting posts for events once they officially start in November and on, we wanted to give everyone a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong.

You can use the form below! If you play more than one character, you're free to make a top-level for just your relevant player information and comment beneath with each respective character.

As a few quick notes:

⁂ The Town Town Hall Meeting is up and serves as a game opening mingle! Our first real, proper event will be November 1st.
⁂ While a month might seem like a long time, we want to encourage people to use the the quest board to get themselves established in the community and building reputation if they want something to do!
⁂ Character claims are always open until we hit the player cap! So, please keep checking back on this post for new players or characters that might be added to ensure everyone receives a warm welcome!

Most of all, we want people to have fun and let us know if your character gets up to anything good, bad, or whatever! All of it will influence the world around them and potentially have benefits or consequences.

About: Hello, your local they/them cryptid here! I am rather new to DWRP, this is my second game, but not new to writing~. I am a digital artist, oc aficionado, and huge fan of vidya games and other media (especially Final Fantasy if my muses didn't give that away, but I love a variety!). I keep like, a gaggle of reptiles. Snakes, geckos, all my wonderful children.

I am in EST, and the way my job goes, my reply speed may or may not be variable! Do know if there is a gap between replies it does not signify disinterest! Vet tech work is a little wild! I look forward to meeting and writing with yall!

Character: Prompto Argentum
Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Canon Point: Mid 10-year time skip before World of Ruin.
Age: 23! Prompto is early time-skip period during the Long Night.

Dragon Bond: Name: Sjerit Ssifisv

Type: Copper

Sjerit's name meaning "Yet to rest" suited her well. She lead an industrious life as a trader of lumber and building materials. She had no time to doubt, and was often known to be a tough, but fair purveyor and manager. Nothing escaped her scrutiny, much to the chagrin of many of her friends and family, she often spent too much time focusing on details and would take that much longer to ensure accuracy and functionality in her work. This lead to many a late night...or week, in which she refused sleep or food in favor of getting her work done.

About Your Blorbo: Grabbing a bunch from my claim!

Selfless? Check. Goofy? Check. Biggest heart ever? Check. Crippling self loathing and a serious complex about being good enough? Check.

Prompto is at first glance a seeming memester, an outgoing goofball around for comic relief. Dig a little deeper, though, and you'll find a cripplingly shy boy trying to overcompensate and prove his worth in the world. Anything to find a place. Prompto is so very anxious and always moving, but capable of such love. If he cares about you, chances are he would die for you.

His specialty in combat is gunslinging and building tech, and he puts it to good use as one of the Prince of Lucis' personal Crownsguard (and his best friend and boyfriend, but that's just extra~). Because of that he is in a fish out of water situation here in Town. He is also an artist- a very skillful photographer and lover of aesthetics. Most times you find him he will be moving at mach speeds (he is a runner too!) or behind a camera lens.

Game Plan(s): Just trying his best, and probably uplifting everyone he befriends along the way. Learning to fight without guns will be a big one. Making friends! Romance? Who knows?! Personal growth too! I imagine Prompto will be teaching more than one unassuming person about memes. I am very interested in folks who he can grow close with and learn more confidence around. Found family is another huge trope this boy deserves.

Interested In: Honestly I am so open to anything! Variety is the spice of life, so if you have a thought, throw it my way. It is fun to get to have my lil guy in situations. Antagonistic, found family, dear friends, it's all open!
