Hello and welcome to Children of Bahamut!

This OOC post will be for all your introductory plotting needs! While there will be plotting posts for events once they officially start in November and on, we wanted to give everyone a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong.

You can use the form below! If you play more than one character, you're free to make a top-level for just your relevant player information and comment beneath with each respective character.

As a few quick notes:

⁂ The Town Town Hall Meeting is up and serves as a game opening mingle! Our first real, proper event will be November 1st.
⁂ While a month might seem like a long time, we want to encourage people to use the the quest board to get themselves established in the community and building reputation if they want something to do!
⁂ Character claims are always open until we hit the player cap! So, please keep checking back on this post for new players or characters that might be added to ensure everyone receives a warm welcome!

Most of all, we want people to have fun and let us know if your character gets up to anything good, bad, or whatever! All of it will influence the world around them and potentially have benefits or consequences.

Hi there! I'm Gaia and I like collecting Sephiroths.

I mean.


I would love the hilarious dynamic of her getting to know both teenage Sephiroth and Adult Sephiroth just because. Teach her advanced fighting skills! Introduce her to friends! Convince her that creepo dad Hojo just liked naming his kids Sephiroth and that's why your 'little brother' is also Sephiroth.

Also maybe she can learn some things from Gladi about roughing it? While she isn't adverse to adopting a Have to Deal With It attitude, she'll still need some learnin' as her roughing it experience IS limited and had a lot more experienced people around to take the slack up on what she didn't know. (and uh carry her luggage).

Hello!! Sorry I am late replying to this, it's been a tiring few days.

That said, if Gaia can handle Sephlet in his awkward teenage years of learning how to people, she's certainly equipped for an older Seph who's actually absorbed some of those lessons already! He's...still not great at it, but he's at least in more advanced classes than Sephlet. I can say, though, that I really wonder if either Seph would even consider lying to her about their relationship to each other; I know for my Seph's part, lying is both something he's not good at and is rarely his first instinct. He might attempt it if Sephlet indicates he doesn't want people knowing they're the same person, but otherwise...

Gladio's definitely got some camping and outdoorsy knowledge he can share with people! His better nature is tempted to offer lessons to people for free, but the practical part of him that's very aware how little his group has to their name is wondering if he shouldn't ask for some form of barter in exchange. He's still kind of dithering on the matter, though. He'll definitely look out for anyone who clearly doesn't know what they're doing and try to step in if people are going to get themselves into bad situations(don't just eat any wild mushroom you forage, kids!).

He's already casually friendly with Sephlet, so maybe they might meet up through him!
