Hello and welcome to Children of Bahamut!

This OOC post will be for all your introductory plotting needs! While there will be plotting posts for events once they officially start in November and on, we wanted to give everyone a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong.

You can use the form below! If you play more than one character, you're free to make a top-level for just your relevant player information and comment beneath with each respective character.

As a few quick notes:

⁂ The Town Town Hall Meeting is up and serves as a game opening mingle! Our first real, proper event will be November 1st.
⁂ While a month might seem like a long time, we want to encourage people to use the the quest board to get themselves established in the community and building reputation if they want something to do!
⁂ Character claims are always open until we hit the player cap! So, please keep checking back on this post for new players or characters that might be added to ensure everyone receives a warm welcome!

Most of all, we want people to have fun and let us know if your character gets up to anything good, bad, or whatever! All of it will influence the world around them and potentially have benefits or consequences.

About: Hi, I'm Star! I’m an office worker and permanently exhausted pigeon living in the GMT+8 timezone. I've got chronic wrist pain, (and my current job does sap my energy a lot so I'm even slower than before lmao) and to manage that I unfortunately juggle only a few threads at a time and may drop threads or ask to delay/handwave encounters - so FYI, it's not a sign of disinterest if I ask to delay a thread with you! I'm generally always happy to plot and very okay with waiting for a good time/opportunity to thread something out.

My main interests include Minecraft, DnD, Pokemon, and drinking copious amounts of milk tea to keep myself going lol. Looking forward to playing with everyone!

Character Name: Absinthe
Canon: OC from the setting of Dungeons and Dragons
Canon Point: Post-arc-1 of her campaign
Age: 20
Dragon Bond: Charir Arytiss, a Red dragon, a traveling warrior who assisted allied city states as part of a draconic support squad; also known to be boisterous and a spirited storyteller.

About Your Blorbo: Absinthe is a DnD OC, an adventurer fresh out of the official campaign Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. She’s Proudly Adopted, raised by bandits, and moved to the big city of Waterdeep to seek her fortune! Which she had found, but unfortunately had to donate most of it back to the city because her party got some blood on it. What I mean by that is uhhhhh it’s blood money now. Lmao.

She’s a Tiefling Rogue/Warlock at Level 6. I've also got an infopage here with slightly more details!

Game Plan(s): Honestly, both she and I are here to have a good time. I’m looking forward to participate in quests, get a lay of the land, and eventually for her to find a niche (whether a location, a faction, or whatever) she wants to establish herself in.

Interested In: I'm open to most sorts of CR so hit me up anyway even if your character isn't described below, but some ideas I have include:

🗡️ People to have a fun night on the town with: we're talking good food, card games, and maybe some shenanigans!
🗡️ Mentor figures, though ideally you've got to be somewhat of a fun guy to keep Absinthe's interest in CR with you. Absinthe was raised by bandits, she could use a lot more education.
🗡️ Other adventurer-types to talk adventuring with, or to be her go-to when shit needs getting done.
❗ Note that as an ex-petty criminal Absinthe may be wary of overtly Lawful characters or characters in law-enforcement, but CR with her may still be possible depending on how your character plays it. I'm still open to threads with such characters, but just an FYI!
