Hello and welcome to Children of Bahamut!

This OOC post will be for all your introductory and/or plotting needs! For newcomers, we want to give a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong. For established players, feel free to make your event and other plans for the month of November here!

You can use the form below! If you play more than one character, you're free to make a top-level for just your relevant player information and comment beneath with each respective character.

As a few quick notes:

⁂ The Fae Festivities event log is up in its entirety! Use this post to plot for it, but feel free to top-level or tag into the actual event at your leisure.
⁂ We want to encourage people to continue to use the quest board to get themselves established in the community and building reputation if they want something to do!
⁂ Character claims are always open until we hit the player cap! So, please keep checking back on this post for new players or characters that might be added to ensure everyone receives a warm welcome!

Most of all, we want people to have fun and let us know if your character gets up to anything good, bad, or whatever! All of it will influence the world around them and potentially have benefits or consequences.

Character: ko tenjin
Canon: handead anthem
Canon Point: post-HANFES
Age: 25
Dragon Bond: renthisj thrae + green! she's a botanist with an interest in toxic plants. while she craved company, when she did have that company from the antidote and medicine side of her business, a lot of their time spent together was her talking ears off about her very special interest in plants.

About Your Blorbo: here we have ko tenjin, my blorbo of blorbos, the small god-shaped young man who really just wants a place to rest. he has an immense guilt and self-imposed duty to rectify the sins of his ancestor, who had ruled and brainwashed a big portion of the japanese population. years and years later in ko's time, there's a sort of cure for that brainwashing. he'll put himself to the side in order to see that sin rectified.

besides all that, he's been appointed as a god and savior, he likes plants himself, and he's a tone-deaf singer/performer who works very hard!

Game/Event Plan(s):

🌟 ko will be having a time with the rules. its not that he's a distrustful person, but rather that he's cautious. especially the 'true name' part; i think he knows about some mythology / fae rules from back where he comes from / spent time in as a child, so he'll be a skeptic and clinging to atsuhide.

🌟 games like that aren't really ko's thing, but it'd be rude not to play; he'll be playing battleship and what's in the box. the latter will depend on a die roll, but he could have fun with it, who knows. battleship he'd be decent at.

🌟 interested mostly in the fourth layer of the forest beyond the party, but i'll do threads at other levels too. i could maybe go with something for his vampire costume in the official halloween art for other memories. wanna get bit?

Interested In: mostly positive CR, but i will not say no to ko not getting along with someone and letting him be cunty. friends: leaders and religious types of all kinds, fellow psychology nerds, fellow undead, someone who pokes fun of him for looking like a middle schooler, i dunno. quite a bit!

Anything else?: i fell off the map but i'm back; @ people i'm threading with, thank you for waiting for me. :)

I couldn't choose between Ko and Gara so I hope you don't mind me plotting for both.

Finding Ko in the fourth layer of the forest could be fun! The fourth layer of the forest is especially relevant to Sheliak. Water mages have the ability to see how close someone is to death through visions of the future. It's a good chance for lore and I'm very curious what you will have Ko see in his reflection!
