Genesis Hewley-Rhapsodos || FFVII: Crisis Core

⁂ PLOT WITH ME
Character: Genesis Hewley-Rhapsodos
Canon: FFVII: Crisis Core & compilation
Canon Point: The ending credits of Dirge of Cerberus
Age: 36
Dragon Bond: Name: Vaeri Loerchik
Type: Red
Personal Information: Vaeri loved nothing more than the performing arts. A theater dancer for much of her life, she basked in the attention and admiration of others. Her grace and skill left her peers in utter awe, however many found trying to get close to her beyond surface-level was a challenge. While she did attempt to teach her art for some time, her temper made her an unsuitable instructor. She returned to her single-minded focus to improve her own skills, wealth and fame. Those who did get to call her a true friend found in her a viciously loyal companion.

About Your Blorbo: Theater-kid-with-an-extra-spicy-side-of-genetically-modified-super-soldier-but-the-genetics-are-from-a-malicious-alien-virus is probably the easiest way to describe him. Which sure is a statement. Genesis is a force of personality that comes from a place of genuinely being extremely obsessed with his passions and also desperately needing attention, but also he's just vain as a peacock. He's as fiery as all the red on him suggests, and while he's pretty selfish, he does like to inspire others to indulge in their own form of selfishness too. Live a little, while you can. From his home world, he's an exceptionally famous SOLDIER 1st Class and used to the prestige of that. In truth, he's a country boy pretending to be a born metropolitan big shot, and somehow succeeding by being that loud about it. This man's ridiculousness started at about age 6 when he decided the neighbor boy, Angeal, was his soulmate, and they've been a thing ever since.

Through a lot of complicated events involving a private military organization becoming a sovereign state and dabbling in horrific genetic experiments, Genesis formed a polycule team with his soulmate, and best friend/hero crush to become the face of war machine propaganda. Unfortunately, those aforementioned genetic experiments were not exactly stable, and he began to degrade at a cellular level. Which led him on a terrible revenge campaign and desperate attempt to seek a cure after abandoning his friends/loves. Along the way, he traumatizes his dearest friends by revealing the truth of their nature as non-humans, and bludgeons everyone with his obsession with a cryptic ancient poem that actually turns out to be a perfect road map to a cure for his degradation. Go figure.

CRAU wise, after ruining his life and the lives of basically everyone he loved, Genesis was given a second chance by the godly manifestation of the planet's will to redeem himself. But after thinking on that for the events of a few games, he was pulled into the Amani simulation. After reuniting and making up with his lost loves, he finally married his childhood sweetheart, and spent most of his time tending to an exceptionally opulent french villa to house and delight everyone he loves.

Game Plan(s): The lack of non-modern luxuries is going to suck, but it's almost like being back in his backwater, middle-of-no-where hometown, so he'll adjust. Otherwise, the whole helping out and questing is a lot like his younger days in SOLDIER, and he still has his loves here, so he can't ultimately complain. He's outgoing and willing to help, so long as he's properly admired/praised.

Interested In: Everything. I adore Rule of Funny, and Genesis is absolutely ridiculous. This is straight up Gackt's '06 deviant art OC. Please come at him with anything from stupid to serious. He is not at all shy about liking the dragon in his head, and will love the perks of his dragon soul.

Anything else? Oh right, I play him as a trans male. Have some memes:
