This OOC post will be for all your introductory and/or plotting needs! For newcomers, we want to give a space to outline their initial thoughts and plans to get started strong. For established players, feel free to make your event and other plans for the future here!

About: Overworked graphic designer and inside sales representative looking for a quiet abode to call her own. I am a big fan of fantasy, video games, art/animation, rocks (and rock tumbling!), cute animals, yummy food, and a subscriber to the idea that life would be better as a musical. Dragon Bond: Ossalur Isk, a gold dragon! I've compiled information about him OVER HERE.
About Your Blorbo: Emet-Selch is one of fourteen representatives of his world's governing body, his duties being those that involve the Underworld (ie. aetherial sea or afterlife) and his ability to see souls. He's a powerful mage and an absolute magnet for gremlin energy. At first meeting, he can be quite prickly and grumpy, but one will soon learn that he's a rather sentimental sort who will cave to the whims of others if he feels the issue warrants his attention (and if others ask nicely enough). He's passionate about theatre, magicks, good literature and long naps in the park.
Game/Event Plan(s): Emet-Selch will be one of those complaining about an 8:00am caravan ride and why on earth they could not either depart under the cover of night or else wait another hour or three. He will, despite all of his grumbling, arrive at least an hour early! And will spend much of the ride napping - or at least pretending to do so. Irritate him enough and you are like to find the weight of the world (and a very tall man) using your shoulder as a headrest.
As for Vorrun itself... it's certainly giving Doma vibes. Emet-Selch will be on his best behavior, lest you worry - spending much of his early hours within the city-state getting a feel for its people and the general ambience. Expect a great deal of people watching and observation, as well as a little community service if only to prove his sincerity - not that the plum wine doesn't help, because it does. Tremendously.
Once investigations are underway, Emet-Selch will take to the skies, now that he has a much better feel for his draconic form and wings. He is most likely to investigate the Abandoned Battlefield, the Mountainsides or possibly Cascara Pass. If you're close CR and wish to drag him into the crystal clear pools with you, you'll need a persuasion check of 15 or higher! He does so hate getting wet, you know, and you'll have to twist his arm to get him to acquiesce.
Partners are first-come-first-serve. He won't object to anyone in particular and can take on either a tanking role as a Dark Knight or play to his magical strengths as a Black Mage.
Interested In: The element of surprise and a well-timed chuckle. Let's do this.

About: Part-time retail worker with training in web and graphic design, aspiring writer, into high fantasy and urban fantasy books and movies, gothic horror, ghost stories, D&D, recently started dipping my toes into old school RPGs like the Bard's Tale trilogy and Daggerfall. I work mostly closing shifts so I'm usually most available afternoons or very late nights EST, actual days tend to shift around a bit because retail. Slow tagging speed on account of that and the occasional friend/family-napping, but I'm willing to backtag pretty much forever.

Character: The Last Dragonborn / Vanyel Greyjoy
Canon: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Canon Point: Post-Main Quest, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn, still yet to finish the Civil War questline
Age: 30ish (adopted at roughly a year old, exact birth date unknown)
Dragon Bond: Blitzer Grabon, a chatty and outgoing bronze dragon with a distinct resemblance to a Flight Rising Skydancer. Blitzer was originally a sports commentator (which sport? Yes), and for all he pokes fun at Van's more academic interests they share a preference for learning through experience and a tendency to at least *try* and make friends wherever they go.
About Your Blorbo: Vanyel is a scholar at heart, who's reaction to finding himself in a whole new world yet again is to try and learn absolutely everything he can about it, and also to bury himself in quests and smaller odd jobs around Town and planning improvements to his cottage. As chatty and outgoing as his dragon, incredibly affectionate to his friends, and deeply curious about both Kamurkia and his fellow outsiders, with a tendency to wear his heart on his sleeve.
Game/Event Plan(s): Van is a lifelong early riser, so while he might not be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed per se the early start won't bother him too much. Nor will being used as a pillow by whoever he ends up next to, for that matter (except possibly Ardyn).
Once they actually reach Vorrun, he'll be happy to perform some community service up to and including helping out Ma Tanuki, partake of local delicacies like the plum wine, and experience the hot springs. He'll be particularly interested to see how the ones here compare with Amani's dragon spring, even.
And once the red tape is dealt with he'll absolutely volunteer to help with the investigations. His wings aren't fully developed quite yet but he has decent enough control with his breath weapon (thanks to previous practice with the Fire Breath Shout), along with his original magical abilities and sword skills. He's going to lean toward the Abandoned Battlefield, Rovaan Nah's Grave, or Wayside Bay, to put his undead-slaying sword and Waterbreathing spell to good use, but it won't exactly be difficult to convince him to come pitch in elsewhere.

About: Loves dogs, but owns a cat. Tank main in FFXIV. Chocobokin in FFXI. I like Final Fantasy, if you couldn't guess, and honestly most RPGs in general. Rich, sprawling world lore appeals to me most which is why it likely makes sense I'm one of your co-mods! My current main hobbies/interests are cross-stitch, watercolors, and writing.
My tagging speed ranges but I would put it generally in the 'slow' category these days just due to time constraints and life being difficult for the past bit. Trying to get back in a better rhythm, but no hard feelings if you'd like someone/something more fast-paced!

About Your Blorbo: Have you ever wondered what a golden retriever personified is like? Look no further than Dimitri Blaiddyd! Despite a traumatizing early life, he still has so much capacity for near unconditional love in his heart for those he holds close. It eventually ends up breaking him but, hey, he's not there...! He's fine. Don't worry about the lingering darkness behind his eyes, the fact he can kill without a moment's hesitation if necessary, and has super strength he can't always control.
Just call him a good boy and watch his metaphorical tail wag. Precious.
Game/Event Plan(s): Since Dimitri will be in his half-shape at this point, he's a little self-conscious about his appearance in some regards. Being around the Beastmen will be kind of nice to not feel so... strange. Otherwise, my general plans are:
Interested In: Dimitri is a teen boy who doesn't really... know how to be a teen boy! He's very serious and uptight, but means the best. I'd like him to know more people his own age and get to live a little instead of having the constant weight of being a future king and responsibility of all that on his shoulders.

Dragon Bond: Rosie has Demora Luthric, a green dragon, in her brain! She was a therapist for veterans and loved being out in nature. Considering Rosie needs both of those things, this will hopefully be good for her!
About Your Blorbo (cw for: mentions of sex work): If you combine the songs Blank Space by Taylor Swift and Fergalicious by Fergie, you get Rosie as a person. She's a hypersexual nightmare dressed as a daydream. She had spent her life the last few years before here basically being the person - specifically rich older men who want to fuck her - most desired in the moment. As a result, she doesn't really like to let people get to know the real her... because she also thinks the real her is pretty ugly, honestly.
While quite emotionally driven, she is also emotionally dysregulated. She tends to be easily jealous, petty, and horribly insecure... But! She also loves music, cares deeply about those she considers friends, and truly just wants a quiet simple life with lots of dogs even if she fights against that and makes bad choices.
Game/Event Plan(s): Haha wow this kind of sucks, the redux. But mostly just for Rosie, who has some... trauma around being essentially a 'Beastman' of her world.
Interested In: Long-term, I want her to find value in herself outside of sex & feeling like she needs to appeal to / be liked by everyone she comes across. She's struggling with body image still though and, like, connection with others in a more meaningful way so also wanting to focus on deepening some of the CR she does have.

Dragon Bond: Jhank Troth, a silver metallic dragon who is a stupid narc in his head that makes Ardyn feel bad about his shitty choices. THANKS, HE HATES IT. They're like an old married couple mentally who bicker about what's 'right' a lot of the time.
About Your Blorbo: Ardyn is, on a surface level, very theatrical and seemingly unbothered by a lot. The man doesn't appear to take much seriously and makes jokes or pokes fun at even dire circumstances. He can come across as creepy, suggestive but also civil, composed, and calm even in the face of hostility.
This is all just thinly veiled attempts to provoke others though since he's basically got some literal demonic sludge disease in his body that tells him to be an asshole. He also is just kind of an asshole sometimes without it needing to influence him, but still! He's a man who believes revenge is a dish best served cold over millennia but also wants an end to his exhausting, miserable existence once he gets it.
Game/Event Plan(s): Aw yeah, a new place to
infectenjoyInterested In: Ardyn is a villainous sort so that means he can be manipulative, cold, and calculating when trying to get what he wants. Obviously, the long-term is he gets better about this and isn't such a dick eventually.
Personally, I also like exploring the depths of depravity he can reach and some of the darker, more fucked up parts of him. I know that isn't for everyone though so either lmk or I'll check in if things start veering a potentially Bad Direction.

Dragon Bond: Senrik Tolkur, green dragon. Curious and constantly up for getting into trouble and then wriggling out of it.
About Your Blorbo: The future Grand Sorceror and currently merely a really strong mage, Popp is used to going around fighting evil with his hero friends. He considers himself unreliable and a coward and hates being like that so he constantly puts himself in danger to live up to the high standards he's come up with.
He's a goofy guy who complains a lot and makes a lot of mistakes and is overly sensitive and dramatic. He's a good kid under all the posturing, though.
Game/Event Plan(s): Popp is becoming resigned to his role as everybody's annoying little brother figure around here, but also, really wants people to take him seriously! So of course he'll be going all in on fighting off monster attacks which is what his whole skillset is geared towards anyway. I'm also all for investigating in addition to setting trolls on fire etc, and am particularly interested in the mountains and graveyard.
He's going to hate waking up early enough to catch the 8am ride but he's pretty good at packing for a long trip and even camping out during expeditions.
Since he's made some artificial hot springs back near Town he will also be checking these out and feeling that his come up short, a good reason to spend some points with Charlie later.
And he has beastmen back home. He doesn't know any that have not tried to kill him at this point in canon, so he will be a little nervous around here at first.
Interested In:
First of all I like CR in general but Popp knows so many level headed mature people that it would be fun to have someone get into petty arguments with him and/or talk him into dumb shenanigans.
Anything else? Popp can fly in both human and dragon forms and will give people lifts all over the mountains if required. He will complain if people ask him to run trivial errands like picking up their lunch they forgot but he will do it.

Age: 187 (about to be 188 this month!)
Dragon Bond: Molik Umbraxakar was a white dragon, a soldier, and a hateful little shit when he was alive, and he still is now! He's been quieter lately on account of getting chewed out by a still-living superior officer (thank you Dimitri) for being a pissy bastard who was making his host miserable. Mithrun is still pretty unhappy about his looming presence, but he'll take the relative quiet.
About Your Blorbo: An elven noble, mage, former paramilitary officer, and current baker who is re-learning how to identify and connect with his own needs and wants after getting absolutely scrungled by supernatural forces! Mithrun struggles to notice things like whether he is, say, hungry or tired, feels very little about much of anything most of the time, and can oscillate from completely checked out to troublingly intense rather quickly if something does break through that disinterest.
While he sometimes struggles to see more to himself as he is now than his condition, Mithrun is also a deeply competitive man with a dry, sometimes near-imperceptible sense of humor, and quite a lot of well-founded confidence in his skills in combat and magic. He will also, every so often, show a flash of perhaps-unexpected compassion - even if he's not much good at expressing it.
Game/Event Plan(s):
- 8am travel is no problem for Mithrun, and he will be wide awake (unless Angeal decides he hasn't slept enough and purrs him back to sleep, like a giant big-titted cat). Theoretically, he won't mind being used as a pillow, but... I can't recommend it, the man is all bone and lean muscle, and he's cold as hell because his circulation sucks. It WOULD be funny though.
- While not particularly interested in tourism, Mithrun can be convinced to take a look aroud; he'll be easy enough to drag to the hot springs (where he will not be able to tell if he's overheating), or to rope into running errands or looking for kids (who he may accidentally scare on account of his Everything). He'll go ahead and try the plum wine if offered - probably keep an eye on him, though, because again. He is kind of a lightweight and cannot gauge his own intoxication.
- INVESTIGATION AND MONSTER HUNTING. This is what he's here for, and where his skillset really lies. Mithrun will look basically anywhere for information, but I particularly want to toss him at Rovaan Nah's Grave and Cascara Pass. This is a good chance to see him more in his element for anyone interested, as investigating the state of monster-infested dungeons was his actual literal job back home (but involves a potential gore warning for threads, as the way Mithrun uses teleportation magic in combat can get pretty gnarly).
- He'll be sparring with the NPCs as well, when I get to putting those rolls in!!
Interested In: Puts out my hands. Mithrun can be oddly endearing, but like. He's also kind of a dick sometimes. I love Friendship (tm) with him, I love teamups and combat rescues, but I'm also perfectly open to dumb fights or longer-term beef and the like!! Hit me up for Whatever, be it serious and Emotional or silly. Or both.

About: Hi! I'm Shesha, I work in the medical field and am interested in a ton of different things. Video games, space, writing, going out to find cool rocks, etc. I live in Pacific time! Dragon Bond: Nannan Urathear, Steel dragon. Nannan found themselves bereft of a true desire for specific work in their life, tending to do odd jobs that allowed them to eke out a modest existence. They were however, possessed of a deep desire to understand the world, to live in the singular moment and reveled in the mystery of endless tomorrows. While esoteric, many found them agreeable and calming to be around with their "go with the flow" attitude. Show them an interesting leaf and they will be occupied for hours. They were also noted to have an affinity for halfling herb.
About Your Blorbo: Copied from last plotting post:
Local intense twink with a penchant for piano, sparring, and balance here to help people out and be earnest and sincere to a fault. He has endured an immense amount of tragedy in his long years, but despite the loss of everything and everyone he had ever known or loved - including the gradual loss of his very memories and identity (which were restored in the end) - he endured. So long as he had his duty, he would always endure. I could write a LOT on this man and his character with the various depths that he has - especially if you take him from different points in canon... but the core of him is love of all kinds. Emissary of the Convocation of Fourteen, his impartial judgements seldom err.
Game/Event Plan(s): Of course he's going on an adventure when it's presented to him. Unlike many others Elidibus absolutely does not outwardly mind the 8am departure time. He's going to look just as pristine and put-together as always and remarkably will appear well-rested. That being said, he's not immune to napping on someone on the way there. Anyone who naps on him is signing up for a free warm feather blanket as he drapes a wing on them.
An entirely new people and culture is going to fascinate him to no end. He's going to talk to many, explore everywhere he can, and really just learn as much as he's able to while he's there. This is some incredible enrichment for him! The wine's also delicious. There is also going to be at least one hot springs visit. Possibly more.
Partners for the investigations will be decided by Elidibus going with whoever asks him first to go anywhere. If he's around, and someone asks to explore one of the areas, he's going to agree. All of them are interesting, though he's especially partial to investigating the Abandoned Battlefield, the Mountainsides, or Rovaan Nah's Grave. The last one in particular he's planning on exploring even if nobody else asks him.
Interested In: It's an adventure so he's going to unintentionally channel Azem so hard. Time for wonder and rock-licking! I'm always open to other things as well, and honestly, so is Elidibus.

Personal Information: John, as one could tell by his chosen name, spent most of his life posing as a human amongst other humans. He lead his life as a humble carpenter and wood-worker. He enjoyed a quiet, simple life and became a pillar of whatever community he chose to settle in. Helping those around him with his strength and keeping these close-knit little towns safe, he dug out his own way of life. Others appreciated him for his humble and straightforward wisdom and warm demeanor.
About Your Blorbo: Caspar is what you would get if the Energizer Bunny had a military background and an inferiority complex! The son of his country's most esteemed military officer, Caspar has lived his life caught between his desire to follow in his father's footsteps and to prove himself on his own terms, as his own man - all while deeply aware that success and failure alike, on any path he may pick, would inevitably be held up to the feats of one of the greatest commanders in Adrestian history.
By and large, he handles that dilemma by... not handling it, and instead hinging his entire sense of self-worth on his combat abilities. It's fine. He's doing fine.
On a more immediately visible level, though: Caspar is an enthusiastic young man whose energy and eagerness to please can be... a lot! He can be pretty fighty and doesn't have the best sense of boundaries, but he genuinely means well and cares deeply about those he develops even a passing investment in. He's basically a shonen action protagonist with the misfortune of living in a war drama.
Game/Event Plan(s): Buddy just got here so I am largely playing it fast and loose!! Also because I'm writing this on mobile when I need to go to bed in twelve minutes. Offhand thoughts:
- 8am carriage ride no problem, he will be ANNOYINGLY chipper and probably have some unrequested and sort of troubling tips for waking up. "Get up two hours early run for an hour and then jump into the coldest body of water you have access to" type shit.
- He wants to spar so bad. With the NPCs. With everyone. PLEASE fight him, he wants to see how he can hold up against everyone's cool dragon stuff.
- EAGER to help out around Vorrun!!! He's never seen a beastman but will basically take it in stride, he's experienced weirder just in the last couple days, what's important is there are errands to do. Also hot springs episode??? Yeah.
- Since Mithrun is less interested in them, I want to have Caspar do some investigating around Wayside Bay, the Mountainsides, and the Abandoned Battlefield. He may be a bit on edge for that last one! Don't worry about it.
Interested In: HOLDING MY HANDS OUT AGAIN. I love for him to goof around with other teenagers! Also love for him to get some adult influences around that he doesn't have a truckload of baggage around. While I'd also love to dig into some of his Problems over time (and he doesn't exactly hide them very well), I'm in no rush, so!! I'm good for Whatever.
Anything else? i just need everyone to know the spinoff game i'm taking him from established that caspar doesn't say the word "chapters" right. he says "chappers". i love him

About Your Blorbo: Former First Class SOLDIER, Angeal had the misfortune of existing in a Final Fantasy game, and thus went through so much trauma. Needless to say, he's long grown since disillusioned of capitalism and the military life, and, thanks to being taken into a strange computer simulation called Amani, has gotten to work in a bakery called Annie's Bakes! He's running it again here in Town, with some PC and NPC employees. Happily married, and with a couple other boyfriends, because the kind of sim he was in just made him flexible romantically.
Event Plan(s):
Getting up bright and early? Angeal does that just as a matter of course, to the dismay of his poor husband. He runs a business in Town after all. Because of that, he'll be pretty relaxed and chatty enough for anyone who is also awake... and early birds get rewarded in the form of not a worm, but fresh pastries he made sure to prepare for the road.
Helping around town? Say less. It's in Angeal nature to be
nosyhelpful, and so you'll find him just about anywhere. If any of his fellow dragon-bound need help being helpful, well... He can manage that too.And finally... Investigation. Needless to say, it's the reason that he's here, and so of course he'll be going right into it. Honestly, with his superhuman endurance (even nerfed as it is in this world), Angeal can check out just about all of the locations listed, although he'll have a particular interest towards the Battlefield and the Pass.
Interested In: Angeal is the most sociable of my two muses in COB. Give him everything. No one has a choice.
Ignis Scientia | Final Fantasy XV

Dragon Bond: Sveargith, a green dragon who some people probably didn't even know was a dragon, on account of how little he talked about himself while running a tavern. Loves ""smoking"", heavy foods, and knowing everyone's business.
About Your Blorbo: Ignis originally arrived in Town at the eight of eighteen and then, some seven months later, had his twenty fourth birthday! So he's having an interesting time of it. He seems surprisingly polite and well adjusted, however! This is definitely all he is. Just a domestic retainer. Don't worry about anything else.
Event Plan(s): While Ignis has no issue getting up early, he probably won't be much good company. All his attention will be on his household, which has only grown even larger with the inclusion of Lunafreya. So expect them to be in their own corner as he helps shepherd a sleepy Noct and treat the Fleuret siblings properly.
Fortunately, he's much more active at their destination proper! Expect to find Ignis hard at work doing various bits of community service, all to help endear himself to the local traders - this land does remind him a touch of home and so bringing back items is important. They should go exploring and fight something - I've got Popp plans for nosing into a lot of places but none for the mountains yet. About Your Blorbo: Avan is a supergenius prodigy whose family history has left him keenly aware of how people do not, generally speaking, care much for supergenius prodigies. So he hides his true strength, playing at being a... normal-adjacent boy? He's still pretty weird, with his corny jokes and esoteric well of knowledge, but it's a distinctly harmless kind of weird, and that's what matters. He's spent his time here pursuing his true loves of cooking and sewing and other domestic pursuits.
Game/Event Plan(s):
-Avan is a bright and early riser as it is, so he won't have any issues with the early departure time. He'll bring snacks to share~ He'll also bring his sword and armor, very rarely seen
-For in town activities, I'm most interested in the hide and seek, but the only thing Avan wouldn't participate in is the plum wine
-For investigation, Avan's primary point of interest is Wayside Bay. Or more accurately, the port. Trading ports are so interesting, there's such a variety of stuff to see and he's never actually been to one before! Investigation, what? Huh?
Interested In: Avan is perpetually in need of more people who completely buy into him being a poor defenseless normie in need of protection.

About Your Blorbo: Aisthota is the Warrior of Light, a dyed in the wool heroic type, always happy to help people with even the pettiest or most impossible problems, and everything in between. She's relentlessly positive, 7 feet and 4 inches of muscle and sunshine.
Game/Event Plan(s):
-Aisthota's fine with an early morning wagon ride and can serve as a very solid person to sleep against without complaint.
-Obviously Aisthota will be participating in
completing sidequestscommunity service, but she's down for anything else the town section offers, too!-For investigation, Aisthota would be most interested in the battlefield or Rovaan Nah's grave. Unlike Avan, she is openly good for combat.

About Your Blorbo: Reach is a kind of cosmic reaper, formerly a world-hopping people-eater who's been pulled into work as a multiverse agent of entropy. Their job mostly centers around taking care of their own backstory through time travel shenanigans, playing the part of mentor to their various AU selves. An old pro at popping into realities on the brink, generally compliant with whichever narratives they stumble into and very sweet on mortal/linear beings in a wry, cheeky kind of way. They have a lengthy info post with more in the comments if you're interested!
Game/Event Plan(s): For the game in general, Reach will be focusing in on being a full-time helper! Following other people's leads, lending their abilities and know-how wherever it might be useful from solving larger problems to just helping less savvy world-hoppers adjust to things. Levex will of course be helping with the latter quite a bit once these two lock in! Regular stops at Annie's are practically inevitable.
As for the current event, there's really no better welcome for Reach than troublesome wildlife. They'll be very eager to help with critter management and, uh, the other stuff too, sure, that's a worthy bonus. Most of their introductions outside the TDM will involve the business end of a Harvester in one way or another, or else while playing along with the more mischievous elements of this situation.
Prompts-wise, Reach will be at their best in community service and hide and seek, while the abandoned battlefield and Rovaan Nah's grave will draw their attention the most when it comes to investigations. They can just as readily be found elsewhere as well, though; in fact, despite being supposedly used to the whole alternate realities thing, their arrival here seems to have them more than a little restless for reasons they'd prefer not to disclose right away. Or at all, if they can help it.
Interested In: I'm just getting (re)started, so pretty much anything goes! My focus will be on introductions and questing for now, but getting in touch with the bakery crew is also pretty high on my priority list. Surprises are also always welcome, just give me a poke if you've got ideas!
